Safari Overview

This tour gives a close encounter with nature getting a memorable time with wildlife and the beautiful nature. Etosha national park is rated as one of the best national parks in Southern Africa. Overnight at the Toshari Lodge (campsite)/ similar with its incredible waterhole for some night time animal spotting, followed by a full day game drive.

Day 1: Saturday- Etosha National Park 

Main destination: Etosha National Park

Accommodation: Toshari Lodge (campsite) or similar

Meals: Lunch and Dinner

Pick up from your hotel or lodge at 8am to allow us to depart at 9.00am. Herded to the north we will have our lovely lunch break in Otjiwarongo or Outjo. We will drive through the National park in search of wildlife: elephants, rhino, zebras, various game (oryx, kudu, wildebeest, impala, springbok, gemsbok) giraffes, hyenas and big cats of Africa: lion, leopard and cheetah inhabiting the enormous grasslands. We will be at our respective accommodation just before sunset. Dinner will sum-up the adventure and rest will be required so that we can be able to work up early and fresh for the next adventure.

Day 2: Sunday- Etosha National Park 

Main destination: Etosha National Park

Accommodation: Toshari Lodge (campsite) or similar

Meals: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

An early rise will be encouraged to have the feel of nature and the fresh breeze. Soon after breakfast we will then start our game drive to allow us to have a magnificent exploration, we will visit the waterholes. We will get to visit the Etosha pan (salt pan) before game driving across the park in expedition of coming across the Big 4 and other animal species. A light lunch will allow us to rest, gathering energy for our next adventure. After a short relaxation we will then visit our last waterhole that will be the last appreciation of Namibia’s beauty. Before sunset we will be back to our accommodation place so that we can have dinner as we share stories of our experiences of the day and also share and compare beautiful photos. There after allowing our tired bodies to rest.

Day 3: Monday Etosha to Windhoek 

Main destination: Windhoek

Accommodation: Not included

Meals: Breakfast and Lunch 

Be prepared for the long, scenic transit back to Windhoek. We pass through towns and rural areas, stopping in the small town of Okahandja, the home of Namibia’s largest wood carving market. The stalls operate on a local co-operative basis and offer a vast array of truly Namibian souvenirs. We are due back in Windhoek late afternoon/ early evening and you will be dropped off at Discovery Guest House.
